All classes are taught by Sign Along founder and instructor, Melissa Breen. Melissa is a
licensed and experienced special education and early childhood teacher. She also holds a
certificate of Deaf Studies. Please see the "About Melissa" tab for more on her experience

Baby Sign Language
8 week session
Ready, set, sign! You are on your way to learning a new way to communicate and bond with
your baby. In this exciting class, you and baby will learn over 50 practical signs by engaging in
interactive songs, games, movement activities and more. Themes will include First Signs, Daily
Routine Signs, Animal Signs, and Out & About Signs. Sign language fun with bubbles,
parachutes, puppets, music, dancing and more awaits!
Dates: 6-12 months Tuesdays 11:45-12:30 (9/6-10/25)
1-2 years Tuesdays 10:30-11:45 (9/6-10/25)

Language & Literacy Enrichment Program for Preschoolers
8 week session
One thing Melissa has certainly learned through her years of teaching...Preschoolers LOVE
learning sign language...and they pick it up so quickly! Signing with hearing children is extremely
worthwhile. Its hands-on nature engages children while helping them expand their vocabularies ,
enhance reading skills, and strengthen fine motor skills. Plus, they will be learning a new, real
language. How cool is that!
Melissa offers sign language classes for 3-5 year olds in her Sign Along! Studio. Children love
the interactive activities including music, movement, games, arts and crafts, and more! Signs for
animals, colors, letters, food, and playtime will be learned. 1 hour class.

Melissa is pleased to offer on-site sign language workshops for special education and early
childhood teachers. Workshops are specifically designed to meet each school's individual
needs. Melissa is an extremely engaging teacher who's workshops are both effective and fun.
She is incredibly passionate about signing in the classroom, and cannot wait to share her
knowledge of this invaluable teaching tool.
Private trainings available at your school or other educational facility.

Private Classes
Sign Along founder and instructor, Melissa Breen, offers private signing lessons in a setting that
is convenient for you. She specializes in teaching sign language skills to:
* Babies & toddlers
* Non-verbal and language-delayed children, including children with autism
* Family members of children or adults that are non-verbal or use American Sign Language
Melissa's private lessons are tailored to meet each individual's needs. They are engaging and
effective. Melissa is a very talented, licensed teacher who has extensive experience working
with children with a variety of special needs. She has given the gift of language and
communication to countless children and families!
Price: $75-$125/hr depending on location and individual need
